HALL OF FAME NOMINATION CRITERIA
A person is to have been born and/or lived in New Mexico, and must meet at least one of the following criteria to be considered for nomination as an inductee:
• Must have participated in club, high school or college athletics and proceeded to a successful professional career in athletics and/or coaching or achieved Olympic success
• Must rank among the leaders in their respective sport in wins and/or state titles in New Mexico if under consideration for coaching high school athletics
• Must achieve international, national or statewide fame for the athletic accomplishments in their career.
• Must have significantly impacted athletics in New Mexico for a long period of time in an area including, but not limited to, coach, administrator, sportscaster, sports journalist, referee or business owner.
