Keith Leupold has been the head volleyball coach at Las Cruces High School for the last 34 years. Keith was one of seven coaches across the nation to be named as a finalist for national coach of the year for volleyball by the National High School Athletic Coaches Association. Under Leupold, has consistently ranked as one of the top volleyball programs in New Mexico. He has led the Bulldawgs to five state championships (2001, 2000, 1998, 1997 and 1995) and has finished runner-up in state at Las Cruces twice (2016 and 2006). Leupold was also nominated for national coach of the year in 1998.
Keith’s greatest pride in is the fact that the Bulldawgs have qualified for the state tournament 28 years in a row, which is the only high school in the state in volleyball who can claim this record streak. Leupold led Las Cruces to a Class 6A state quarterfinal appearance last season and a 15-9 overall record.
