• Lettered one year in Track & Field and football

Professional – Toby has been coaching high school volleyball of 33 years in New Mexico and become one of the winningest coaches in high school volleyball. His teams have won seven state volleyball championships in twelve championship game appearances. His Rio Rancho Rams teams went to an unbelievable nine straight state championship matches from 2001 -2009 in the large school division. His career record is currently 447-253
o St. Pius X High School Overall Record – 92-25
• 1993 Led the Sartans to a Class 3A runner-up finish
• 1994 Won his first state volleyball championship. His team posted a 21-0 record.
o Moriarty High School 1995-1996 Overall record – 18-21
o Rio Rancho High School – Overall record 328-192
• 1997 to Present taught Physical Education
• 2002 Won the state volleyball championship
• 2003 Won the state volleyball championship
• 2005 Won the state volleyball championship
• 2005 Won the state volleyball championship
• 2007 Won the state volleyball championship
• 2009 Won the state volleyball championship
• 2000 – 2009 Winning ten consecutive District titles
o Coached the North All-Stars in the New Mexico High School Coaches Association North/South All-Star Game in 1994 and 2004

o Annual Brest Cancer Awareness VB match to raise funds for breast cancer research/cure

• Carol, wife of 26 years, who has been his greatest supporter.
• 2 children, Tommy (1995), and Shae (2001).
